A million flowers.
Millefiori was originally made in Italy, and sliced with a hammer & hardy, lending a lovely organic look. Nowadays, there are more cost-effective varieties made in China – usually flatter and more uniform.
From time to time, I may still stock some Italian, but I am moving more towards the Chinese form – making it more available to he majority of mosaicists
