Make creating beautiful mosaics even more enjoyable. These nippers cut tesserae up to 5mm thick, and easily cut molded tile into quarters, halves and triangles. The circular blades do not actually rotate while cutting.
- Use for easy and fast cutting of sheet glass, (some) smalti, Venetian glass tiles, ceramic tile and small porcelain tiles too!
- Designed to nip up to 5mm in thickness.
- NOTE: Unlike the previous version (which opened up to 8mm), these will only open up to 5mm, so some Smalti may not fit.
- The unique grip design generates 5 times the force of regular nippers while also being comfortable to use for long periods with no discomfort.
- Super light weight (150gms) and longer handles makes cutting a breeze
- The rubber ring next to the wheel keeps pieces from flying while nipping.
- The reversible design can be used by both left and right handed users – simply loosen the nipper wheels and flip them to the other side.
- Features a wheel indexing system for maximum life with the nipping wheels.
- When one part gets worn rotate to the next number allowing for easily alignment and extends the life of your nippers.
- Nippers measure 22cm long.
Replacement blades are available, although the blades should last for years if you don’t abuse them by attempting to cut materials other than glass, which may impact the precision of the tool itself.
NOTE: These nippers have been designed for use with tesserae up to 5mm thick.

Some errors may occur in shipping calculations, due to the complexities of combining products in one order. If you have overpaid shipping I will refund, or issue a credit. If you have underpaid, I will invoice for the difference.
I operate this business without assistance. Whilst I DO endeavour to ship as soon as I possibly can, I cannot guarantee to ship out the same day as the order is received. I am currently shipping orders on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays.
1-10 Silverback mini glass sheets will fit into a STANDARD SMALL post box.
1-5 Hobby Squares will fit into a SMALL glass box.
Larger orders will require one or more LARGE glass boxes. Express postage on these parcels is dependant on your postcode. Please email me for a quote if required.
I package carefully. However, damage may occur during transit. Product is shipped entirely at your own risk.
International Shipping:
My website does not allow international customers to check out. Please e-mail me a list of the products you want (you can create a wishlist and email it to me), your shipping address and the preferred method of payment. I will prepare a quote and email it to you. If acceptable, I will send a payment request/invoice. Items will be shipped once payment has cleared.
Apologies – I do NOT ship glass internationally. Grouts ship to Australia and New Zealand only.
