This is the smallest board cutting system from Creators Brand – ideal for those limited in space, or working on smaller pieces – great for mosaics!

The Cutters Mate is a grid based cutting system designed for those who want to cut free-form shapes.  It virtually eliminates pressure on the wrist and shoulder, and removes the need to stand whilst cutting. Ideal for those suffering from arthritis, carpal tunnel or other wrist issues.

  • Cutter’s Mate glides effortlessly across the glass while maintaining a constant 90 degree angle to the surface.
  • You will experience greater comfort and ease in scoring glass.
  • The cutting head can be rotated a full 360 degrees, giving you the ability to cut any shape you can draw or trace. You can even score glass while sitting down!
  • Great for the beginning and experienced artisan.
  • The design keeps the cutter angled at 90° to the cutting surface.  It employs a weighted head above the carbide cutter to deliver just the correct amount of pressure onto the glass – ensuring a perfect cut every time – Just rest your hand on the weighted handle and steer where you want your score.

Lubricating the Cutting Wheel

It is recommended that the supplied oil-well be used in preference to filling the weighted cutting handle

  1. Untwist and remove the oil-reservoir cap.
  2. Fill the oil-reservoir with 10 drops of cutting wheel oil. (over-filling will create a hydraulic vacuum lock, and no oil will lubricate the cutting wheel).
  3. Replace the oil reservoir cap, and you are ready to cut glass.

Weighted steel handle with foam grip

  • Large comfortable Grab-On foam grip handle eliminates strain normally experienced while scoring glass.
  • Keeps cutting-head at a constant 90 degree angle to the glass to help eliminate bad breaks.

CSG-10 Carbide Cutting-Head and Brass Stylus

  • Every version of The Cutter’s Mate includes the CSG-10 Carbide cutting-head for precision scoring.
  • The CSG-10 cutting head can be removed from the brass stylus by loosening the set screw.
  • Changing the cutting-head has never been easier.
  • The cutting-head can rotate 360 degrees continuously.

I operate this business without assistance.  Whilst I DO endeavour to ship as soon as I possibly can, I cannot guarantee to ship out the same day as the order is received. I am currently shipping orders on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays.

1-10 Silverback mini glass sheets will fit into a STANDARD SMALL post box.
1-5 Hobby Squares will fit into a SMALL glass box.
Larger orders will require one or more LARGE glass boxes.  Express postage on these parcels is dependant on your postcode. Please email me for a quote if required.

I package carefully. However, damage may occur during transit. Product is shipped entirely at your own risk.

International Shipping:

My website does not allow international customers to check out. Please e-mail me a list of the products you want (you can create a wishlist and email it to me), your shipping address and the preferred method of payment. I will prepare a quote and email it to you.  If acceptable, I will send a payment request/invoice. Items will be shipped once payment has cleared.

Apologies – I do NOT ship glass internationally.  Grouts ship to Australia and New Zealand only.
