Description
Glass Circle Cutter – 600mm
- Ideal for cutting circles to size
- the cutter bar is dimensioned along it’s length. 1 side reflects inches, and the other marked side reflects cms
- NOTE: Dimensions reflect the complete DIAMETER of the circle
- a central suction cap centre secures the glass
- 600mm diameter (Bar is marked to 300mm)
Instructions:
- Slide the cutter along the cutter bar to the correct circle diameter. Best to leave 1-2 cm of clearance between the circumference and the edge of the glass.
NOTE: If you want (for example) a 30cm diameter circle, position the cutter head over the 30 mark.
The actual distance from the centre of the suction cap to the cutter head will be 15cm in this case (half the diameter) - Use the suction cap to affix the cutter to the glass
- Without pressing down, rotate the cutter to ensure there is enough clearance around the circle.
- Make any final adjustments
- Press down on the round knob with the palm of your hand.
- When the complete circle has been scored ONCE, stop. DO NOT SCORE over glass that has already been scored.
- Release the suction cap, and remove the device
- Flip the glass over, and press down on the score with a Palm Runner.
- Using your glass scorer, cut 3-4 release lines from the edge of the circle to the edge of your glass.
- Use the release lines to break-out the score.
