Description
Wheeled Nipper Repair (Seabell/QEP)
- Have your nippers come loose to the point where the thickness adjuster pin has come out?
- Do you find they open much wider than they should?
- Are the handles becoming wobbly?
If you allow the central joint to loosen, the adjuster pin may fall out, rendering them inoperable. I can inspect your nippers, clean and re-fit the pin for you. I will also treat the central joint with Loctite Threadlocker.
Simply send back the nippers to me, INCLUDING the pin, and I will repair them.
NOTE:
- I do not guarantee this repair against further failure. However, I have not had an issue with any that I have repaired to date
- If possible, I will inspect and refit the thickness adjuster pin
- Please send all parts with the nippers
- If I find on INITIAL inspection that they are unrepairable, I will refund payment. If you want the unrepairable tool returned, postage is still payable
- I can also replace wheels or springs, but will contact you first if I feel these need replacing.
- If I need to inspect them internally, the fee will be payable, even if I am unable to repair them
- You are responsible for shipping them to me
I will invoice you for any parts used, payable before the tools are shipped back to you
