A wonderful frame for your work. Pine-edged flat boards
These sturdy panels are made with high density MDF and solid pine frames to prevent warping, so your work stays looking its best. They include a 3mm lip around the frame. These boards come pre-primed and are ready to be used straight away. No framing required
- Absorbent gessoed board surrounded by a 2cm thick natural timber frame
- For clean, crisp edges, cover frame with painters tape before mosaicing, remove tape after grouting
- 3 sizes:
- 150mm square with a 10mm lip on the shallow side, and a 15mm lip on the deeper side. 20mm thick
- 250mm square with a 5mm lip on the shallow side, and a 20mm lip on the deeper side. 40mm thick
- 300mm square with a 5mm lip on the shallow side, and a 20mm lip on the deeper side. 40mm thick
- Use two ways:
- gessoed face up – 3mm deep lip is a lovely frame for tiles or glass.
- flip over for a shadow-box effect.
- Frame can be painted or left natural
I am currently shipping orders on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays.
I operate this business without assistance. Whilst I DO endeavour to ship as soon as I possibly can, I cannot guarantee to ship out the same day as the order is received.
1-10 Silverback mini glass sheets will fit into a STANDARD SMALL post box.
1-5 Hobby Squares will fit into a SMALL glass box.
Larger orders will require one or more LARGE glass boxes. Express postage on these parcels is dependant on your postcode. Please email me for a quote if required.
Postage Unders & Overs:
Some errors may occur in shipping calculations, due to the complexities of combining products in one order. If you have overpaid shipping I will refund, or issue a credit. If you have underpaid, I will invoice for the difference. If you feel the postage charge is incorrect – please contact me by phone (most immediate) or email.
No refunds will be given for glass sheets damaged in transit.
I package carefully. However, damage may occur during transit. Product is shipped entirely at your own risk.Â

- – You can now request a Shipping Quote. Please allow a few days to get a response (due to time differences) as these are prepared manually at the end of the business day.
- – If purchasing from the US, be aware that US Government Tariffs and Postal Clearance fees will be included on your order. Merlin Mosaica charges a small processing fee. Read more here

- – Grouts ship to Australia and New Zealand only.
Free Postage (Australia only) on orders above $250 will NOT apply:
- – If more than one parcel is required. I will apply Free Shipping to the most expensive (shipping-wise) parcel. I will bill you for shipping on other parcel(s) in the order.
