Description
How much epoxy grout do you really need?Â
There are some mosaic artists who believe you can “eyeball” the mixing calc for this grout, and some who use incorrect approximations. Whilst some of these do work (the product is rather forgiving), they will at best cost you more money (as you may use more hardener than is necessary), and at worst, can lead to grout failure. There are some who claim that Litokol provides more hardener in the tub than is required – this is not so, as the product is designed as a single use product, and tilers typically pour ALL of the hardener into the tub and mix as a complete pot, discarding any unused product at the end of their job.
Works with Microsoft Excel or Apple Numbers. It may also work with other spreadsheet programs that I have no knowledge of.
This FREE, accurate calculator:
- Applies to all NEW FORMULATION Litokol epoxy grouts (translucent, coloured and metallic) – BLACK TUB
- The NEW formulation has slightly different mixing ratios to the old product
- Other brands may have different mixing ratios
- Works in millimetres & grams, or inches and ounces
- Is easy to use, and never expires
- If you are using the OLD Formulation (white tub), click here to get the calculator for that product – OLD GROUT CALCULATOR
- Calculations are built using the mixing ratios published by the manufacturer and available in the product Technical Data Sheets
The calculator is provided courtesy of Merlin Mosaica. Although based on the manufacturers published product mixing ratios, it is not endorsed by Litokol. Use at your own risk.
To download, add this to your cart, and checkout (it will cost you nothing). You will then get a download link that you can save to your device.
I am currently shipping orders on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays.
I operate this business without assistance. Whilst I DO endeavour to ship as soon as I possibly can, I cannot guarantee to ship out the same day as the order is received.
1-10 Silverback mini glass sheets will fit into a STANDARD SMALL post box.
1-5 Hobby Squares will fit into a SMALL glass box.
Larger orders will require one or more LARGE glass boxes. Express postage on these parcels is dependant on your postcode. Please email me for a quote if required.
Postage Unders & Overs:
Some errors may occur in shipping calculations, due to the complexities of combining products in one order. If you have overpaid shipping I will refund, or issue a credit. If you have underpaid, I will invoice for the difference. If you feel the postage charge is incorrect – please contact me by phone (most immediate) or email.
No refunds will be given for glass sheets damaged in transit.
I package carefully. However, damage may occur during transit. Product is shipped entirely at your own risk.Â
International Shipping:
- – You can now request a Shipping Quote. Please allow a few days to get a response (due to time differences) as these are prepared manually at the end of the business day.
- – If purchasing from the US, be aware that US Government Tariffs and Postal Clearance fees will be included on your order. Merlin Mosaica charges a small processing fee. Read more here
- – Apologies – I do NOT ship glass internationally.Â
- – Grouts ship to Australia and New Zealand only.
Free Postage (Australia only) on orders above $250 will NOT apply:
- – If more than one parcel is required. I will apply Free Shipping to the most expensive (shipping-wise) parcel. I will bill you for shipping on other parcel(s) in the order.
- – If a Seniors/Pension Discount code is used. Please consider carefully which option presents the best value to you.
Your understanding is appreciated.
