When Joseph Bohle invented the glass cutter, he came up with the brand name “Silberschnitt” which translates to Silver cut – based on the line left after scoring glass.
Synonymous with quality and precision, Silberschnitt Cut Running pliers are arguably the best in the business, and they have now been made even better.
German made Bohle Silberschnitt Glass Breaking Pliers are for art glass work up to 3/16″ (5 mm) thickness. Glass is broken safely and in a controlled manner. Upper pressure bar can be turned and can be adjusted to the score. Even inner curves and the smallest glass strips can be broken precisely without any splintering. I use these all the time.

How to Use them:
Make sure the word Silberschnitt is on the TOP when breaking.
Align the black dot (where the rubber insert snaps in) on the jaw top with your score line
Ensure the rectangular pad is inserted into the top jaw, and the round pad into the bottom jaw
Make sure the rectangular top pad sits at 90 degrees across your score line. You can swivel this pad as you move along a curve.
Position your hands at the ends of the handle
Squeeze LIGHTLY.

I am improving shipping calculations on the site, but there may be some orders that are still calculating incorrectly. Most orders calculate box sizes correctly, but some products that ship individually (such as grouts), may require manual adjustment by me at processing time.
If you have overpaid shipping I will refund, or issue a credit. If you have underpaid, I will invoice for the difference.
My shipping charges comprise Aussie Post charges, the boxes, tape and eco-fill, and other packing materials. I use re-cycled materials whenever I can. I endeavour to pack orders safely, whilst minimising shipping charges.

1-5 Sheets will fit into a SMALL GLASS BOX (weight approx 3 kgs),
Larger orders will need one or more large glass boxes. Express postage on these parcels MAY cost more than $5.
