Description

Substrate and Frame – all in one!! Use them with stained glass, tile, beads and Mexican Smalti.

Our larger Walled shapes (300mm, 350mm & 380mm) use a 9mm MDF base. Smaller sizes are on a 6mm base. Also available in acrylic (200mm, 250mm & 300mm).

Designed for the mosaic artist, beginners to advanced. Custom made in Australia from primed MDF, or clear acrylic

These wonderful walled shapes frame your mosaics beautifully – no sharp edges.

  • 1-3 will ship in a small glass box, 4-7 will ship in a large glass box
  • MDF: 6 sizes, Acrylic: 3 sizes
  • Indoor:
    • MDF walls are 6mm thick on a 6mm (150mm – 250mm size) or 9mm (300mm or larger) base.
    • Pre-primed, can be painted
  • Outdoor:
    • Acrylic walls are 4.5mm thick. Piece comes with a hanging hole drilled in the top.
    • If you want extra holes in your acrylic, just tape over the position with painters tape, and drill with a standard bit.
  • Great for beginners & classes
  • I recommend taping the edges before mosaicing

I am currently shipping orders on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays.

I operate this business without assistance.  Whilst I DO endeavour to ship as soon as I possibly can, I cannot guarantee to ship out the same day as the order is received.

1-10 Silverback mini glass sheets will fit into a STANDARD SMALL post box.
1-5 Hobby Squares will fit into a SMALL glass box.
Larger orders will require one or more LARGE glass boxes.  Express postage on these parcels is dependant on your postcode. Please email me for a quote if required.

Postage Unders & Overs:

Some errors may occur in shipping calculations, due to the complexities of combining products in one order.  If you have overpaid shipping I will refund, or issue a credit. If you have underpaid, I will invoice for the difference.  If you feel the postage charge is incorrect – please contact me by phone (most immediate) or email.

No refunds will be given for glass sheets damaged in transit.
I package carefully. However, damage may occur during transit. Product is shipped entirely at your own risk. 

International Shipping:

  • – You can now request a Shipping Quote. Please allow a few days to get a response (due to time differences) as these are prepared manually at the end of the business day.
  • – If purchasing from the US, be aware that US Government Tariffs and Postal Clearance fees will be included on your order.  Merlin Mosaica charges a small processing fee. Read more here
  • – Apologies – I do NOT ship glass internationally. 
  • – Grouts ship to Australia and New Zealand only.

Free Postage (Australia only) on orders above $250 will NOT apply:

  • – If more than one parcel is required.  I will apply Free Shipping to the most expensive (shipping-wise) parcel.  I will bill you for shipping on other parcel(s) in the order.
