Description
Originally popular in Victorian windows, English Muffle glass is being reintroduced in both restoration and contemporary stained glass work. English Muffle glass is known for its traditional muted colours, its highly refractive texture and crystalline quality. The texture appears as a non-directional soft ripple, allowing for minimal waste.
- I can fit 7 sheets into one Pizza-style box, approx. weight is 3 kilos. These cost the same as a medium box to ship.
- NOTE: I am unable to combine other products with the larger format glass. Additional shipping costs will apply.
- Easily to cut with an oil-filled glass scorer and running pliers. Score on the non-treated (if iridised) or non-textured side.
- This is not fusible glass.
NOTE: As these are cut from a larger piece, the colours and swirls may vary. There may be some irregularities in the cutting, but I have made every effort to ensure that each piece meets the MINIMUM size.
I am currently shipping orders on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays.
I operate this business without assistance. Whilst I DO endeavour to ship as soon as I possibly can, I cannot guarantee to ship out the same day as the order is received.
1-10 Silverback mini glass sheets will fit into a STANDARD SMALL post box.
1-5 Hobby Squares will fit into a SMALL glass box.
Larger orders will require one or more LARGE glass boxes. Express postage on these parcels is dependant on your postcode. Please email me for a quote if required.
Postage Unders & Overs:
Some errors may occur in shipping calculations, due to the complexities of combining products in one order. If you have overpaid shipping I will refund, or issue a credit. If you have underpaid, I will invoice for the difference. If you feel the postage charge is incorrect – please contact me by phone (most immediate) or email.
No refunds will be given for glass sheets damaged in transit.
I package carefully. However, damage may occur during transit. Product is shipped entirely at your own risk.Â

- – You can now request a Shipping Quote. Please allow a few days to get a response (due to time differences) as these are prepared manually at the end of the business day.
