True crash glass – Ready to break as you need it!
This glass ships as unbroken. Please be aware that if it shatters in transit, it will still be useable (you just miss out on the fun)!
- 5mm thick
- approx. 38 x 33 cm
- roughly 1.5kgs in weight
- clear, unused
- a max of 4 sheets will ship per box (approx 6 kgs in weight), but pricing will vary by postcode.
Use entirely at your own risk – the pieces are devilish sharp, and the islands will separate from their chunks with anything but the most delicate handling.
To break the glass:
- Wear safety glasses and closed-toe shoes
- Protective gloves are also advisable
- it is best to do this outside
- place the unbroken sheet in a garbage bag on a flat surface. You can also leave it in its shipping box – this will help contain the shards.
- using a pair of wheeled nippers, cut into the glass sheet. Make sure the sheet is contained in the garbage bag, or covered by a sheet/towel.
If you want coloured glass, paint the glass with acrylic inks or paint BEFORE you break the sheet.
alternatively, paint the substrate with a design, before glueing on your glass.
I am currently shipping orders on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Fridays.
I operate this business without assistance. Whilst I DO endeavour to ship as soon as I possibly can, I cannot guarantee to ship out the same day as the order is received.
1-10 Silverback mini glass sheets will fit into a STANDARD SMALL post box.
1-5 Hobby Squares will fit into a SMALL glass box.
Larger orders will require one or more LARGE glass boxes. Express postage on these parcels is dependant on your postcode. Please email me for a quote if required.
Postage Unders & Overs:
Some errors may occur in shipping calculations, due to the complexities of combining products in one order. If you have overpaid shipping I will refund, or issue a credit. If you have underpaid, I will invoice for the difference. If you feel the postage charge is incorrect – please contact me by phone (most immediate) or email.
No refunds will be given for glass sheets damaged in transit.
I package carefully. However, damage may occur during transit. Product is shipped entirely at your own risk.Â
